Fees per lesson
Simple, by semester.

Semi-private is 2–3 students, group is 4 or more. In person at the studio or online. Fees are due before each semester by e-transfer to admin@augustmusic.co.
2026 – 2027
The year ahead.
- Fall15 lessonsSeptember 8 – December 19, 2026. Fees due August 31.
- Spring23 lessonsJanuary 4 – June 26, 2027. No lessons over spring break, March 14–27. Paid in two instalments, December 31 and March 31.
- SummerBy arrangementA shorter summer semester runs July to August. Extra lessons can be arranged any time, based on availability.
No lessons on statutory holidays; fees reflect any holiday that falls on your lesson day. Lessons are not offered on Sundays.

Studio policies.
Missed & make-up lessons
- Missed lessons are made up within the same week, subject to availability, or with a substitute teacher.
- Make-up requests need 2 days' notice, except for illness or emergencies.
- No lesson credits are given for lessons not made up.
- Taking a holiday? Arrange make-ups within the semester before you go.
Schedule changes
Schedule changes can be requested once per semester, subject to availability. If your teacher is unavailable, the lesson is rescheduled, taught online, or covered by a substitute teacher.
Lesson etiquette
- Be on time, and let your teacher know if you're running late.
- Practise what was taught; we recommend five days a week.
- Bring your materials: notebooks, music, pencil and eraser.
- Clean hands, and leave mud and dirt outside the studio.
- Respect the space so others can enjoy it too.
- If you're sick, stay home. We can do the lesson online or reschedule.
Payment
Fees are due before each semester by e-transfer to admin@augustmusic.co, or by accepting our e-transfer request.
